Visit From Babcia

John's Mom was here from New York to visit for 11 days. She comes every year for Nick's birthday, but this year she also came to meet Mia. They hit it off from the start...Mia absolutely loves her, and was so happy during her visit. I have to say that John's Mom is a very loving and affectionate grandparent and has endless patience for her grandkids. And she can play with them for hours at a time. No wonder Nick cried when she left. I will also miss her since she was great company for me...she went with me on all of my errands...and we did alot of shopping too.

We spent one afternoon at South Coast Plaza and had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe where a guy made a balloon spider for Nick. Mia also had blast on her first carousel ride. We also spent a day at Mulligans (Nick's favorite place) playing minature golf and also playing some games. Nick won a few hundred tickets and came home with a bunch of toys (which he has not played with since has so many new toys from his birthday).
